Parade moves to "Roll & Wave" event for second year
What
The Gulf Coast Veterans Parade, set to take place on Nov. 6, in Biloxi, is now officially cancelled. After careful input from Gulf Coast healthcare officials, city and state leaders, organizers have decided out of caution the parade cannot go on “safely" due to the ongoing Covid-19 crisis. The decision was made with the safety of parade participants and spectators in mind.
What now
However, the mission of the GCVP continues as we honor our Veterans! A "Roll & Wave" thru event will be repeated (similar to 2020) on the grounds of the Biloxi Veterans Medical Facility and Armed Forces Retirement Home in Gulfport.
